What's My Story?

Known for the many hats she wears, literally and figuratively, Kristen Long is spending most of her time these days either in the studio producing music and creating shows, or onstage performing alongside partner, Will Fink. The two form a powerhouse musical team, The Minx & The Maestro and are co-founders of Minx & Maestro Productions. A two time Berklee graduate, Kristen Long, holds her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance (cum laude), and her Master of Music in Music Production (Distinction, Outstanding Graduate Student of Class of 2022, iZotope Award: Honoring Innovation in Music Production.)

As part of the Master's degree program, Long self-produced a 5-song concept EP. While each song stands on its own, the EP invites listeners inside the journey to truly experience the story when listened as a whole. Past releases include Gypsy Soul (EP, featuring Grammy nominated Rushad Eggleston on Cello), Shoebox Memories (Album), and Sweetest Perfection (Single). Additional recording credits include Executive Music Consultant, songwriter, arranger, and pianist on Glennellen Anderson’s PERSPECTIVE album, as well as Songwriter and Executive Producer on “Angel’s Sin” featuring Dew Pendleton. Both projects were recorded at FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, AL.

Kristen was featured on Catt Sirten’s 92Zew Radio Avalon Coffee Table Series in 2015. "Truth" from the Gypsy Soul EP also enjoyed regular airplay on 92Zew's Area 251. Other radio credits include WUWF Acoustic Interlude with John MacDonell,  The Uncle Henry Show(iHeartRadio) and Alex Lebron's Shameless Exposure on Barcelona City FM. Notable performances include CBGB’s, The National Shrimp Festival in Gulf Shores, AL, The Esplanade in Boston, MA, The Cabaret South Beach, The Bitter End,  and Tin Pan Alley in Provincetown, MA. She can be found regularly at Casablanca Cafe and Piano Bar in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Her work as Music Director includes Spectra’s Cabaret (Anthem of the Seas), Starwater (Quantum of the Seas), Columbus The Musical (Harmony of the Seas) Flight (Symphony of the Seas) Pixels (Ovation of the Seas), and countless others.
